GN Motorcycle Delivery Program: Spreading the Good News on Two Wheels

A motorcycle has recently been purchased by The United Church of God, IA – Philippines to help cut down the cost significantly in delivering our free literature within Davao City. Mailing in Davao City alone amounts to one fourth of the national total figure.

The blue Honda Dream C-100, or “The Good News” motorcycle as people everywhere fondly call it, is the Church’s answer to cope with the ever-increasing demand of literature subscription. Currently driven by Manuel Dormentes, a member from the Kiara, Bukidnon congregation, the motorcycle is able to deliver an average of 30 literature requests personally per day at a computed cost of only four pesos per envelope (compared to the average of over twenty pesos per envelope at the Post Office). In addition, we are able to provide visibility and free advertisement to the general public about our publications, and answer questions and get valuable feedback from our readers.
