2004 Year-End Mailing Office Report

With the calendar year coming to a close, the Philippine UCG Mailing Office reports a steady increase in almost all aspects of God’s Work.

Incoming Requests:

For the year 2004, we have received 3,671 cards and letters through our post office boxes located in Davao, Makati, and Cincinnati. In addition, we received 2,882 Internet requests, plus 1,843 SMS (cellular phone text messages) requests as a direct response to our local radio broadcasts and publications.

We also mailed over 11,000 pieces of requested literature. Please see the pie chart below for corresponding percentages:

Incoming Requests show 34% from Internet, 2% from Phone/Fax, 41% from Mail, and 23% from Text Messaging

The Good News Magazine and World News and Prophecy Subscriptions:

We registered a total of 7,082 Good News subscribers as of the November/December 2004 issue.  This figure reflects a 21.7 percent increase over the same period last year, and a 2.5 percent increase over the previous issue.

World News and Prophecy is also up 61 percent over the same period last year.

Below is a bar chart showing the Good News magazine subscription figures for the past three years.

Nov/Dec 2004 GN Subscribers show 27% increase over 2003

Nationwide Literature Distribution:

Shown below is the nationwide literature distribution as divided according to the major island groups, namely: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Although Davao City is a part of Mindanao, it is purposely separated here because literature for this area is distributed by our Motorcycle Delivery Program, whereas literature for all the other areas are mailed through the post office.

Nationwide Literature Distribution chart shows 33% for Luzon, 19% for Visayas, 30% for Mindanao, and 18% for Davao City
