More than a dozen teenage boys and girls went up to Baguio City for a one-day summer break; most of the teenagers came from the low-lying areas of Pangasinan.
Since the province is very hot and humid during summer, they opted to go up to Baguio City to be with the Church teens there and at the same time enjoy the cool climate of the city.
The trip going up took almost two hours. They were met by the UCG teens in Baguio City at the former U.S. base called Camp John Hay. After the pleasantries and greetings the group played in the famous mini-golf course. After the exciting game, all were famished and decided to have lunch. The lunch was served by Mrs. Teresa Dizon. The place at that time was teeming with people from the lowlands also trying to escape the heat and humidity.
The group also had a Bible study under the pines. They were also able see the enclosed butterfly sanctuary in the camp.
Since everyone enjoyed the summer trip they decided to take a walk while fellowshipping back to the exit gates.
The group was accompanied by their pastor and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Eriz Dizon.
