Dagupan Singles Hold Year-End Outing December 28
by Serizalinio Dizon

For the first time in many years we finally had a year-end singles activity.

After inquiring and searching for a private and quiet place for the young men and women in the church, we finally found a place to have the year-end activity.

It was a goverment-owned beach resort solely designed to attract foreign tourists; it was made during the Marcos days. After more than 20 years, the San Fabian PTA Beach Resort is still beautiful and refreshing, and is often frequented by well-off people.

Singles from both Dagupan and Baguio attended the beach activity. Most of them came from nearby San Fabian, while a couple of them came from the Baguio area.

The fellowship was excellent; there were a total of seven games played. Prizes were given to the winners, who in turn shared their prizes with everyone else. There was swimming in the fresh water pool, and of course in the magnificent and very calm beach.

They had barbecued chicken, spaghetti, fruit juices, and much more. Two women brought along their best friends who, though they had never attended with the church, indicated that they enjoyed the activity very much.

Verlyn took care of the games and purchased and gift-wrapped the prizes.

Onah Agayo won a prize on the guessing game. Matet got first place on the mime contest. Rachel won the ‘Bring Me’ prize. Well, they also had ‘Simon Says’ but nobody can beat Verlyn and Gino, since they are UYC veterans in that specific game.

After all the swimming, eating, singing, games, and picture taking, we officially closed the activity at 3:30 that afternoon. Everybody considered it very exciting and successful.
