Birth

Gem and Sarah Nagtalon of the Davao City congregation are happy to announce the birth of their sixth child, Jonathan Gem Nagtalon. Baby Jonathan was born on September 20, 2005 weighing 9 lbs. He is a wonderful addition to the family and to the Davao congregation as well.

We would like to announce the arrival of the newest member of the Macaraeg-Mortier clan—Jordan Hunter.

The first child of Jeb Ryan Mortier and Laurie Lynn Macaraeg-Mortier, he was born on October 28, 2005 at 9:20 a.m. EST in the City of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He weighed in at 6 lbs. & 15 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches at birth.

Jordan is the first grandchild of both sets of grandparents: Jeb’s parents (Donn & Alice Mortier from Wisconsin) and Laurie’s parents (Edmond & Lorna Macaraeg from the Philippines).

Engagement

Edmond & Lorna Macaraeg of Davao City, Philippines, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Cheryl Lynn Macaraeg to David Don Rogers, of the Denver, Colorado congregation, USA. An October 5 wedding is planned in Davao City, Philippines.

Obituary

We are saddened to announce the passing away of Luz Tabora Dimaano last February 20, 2006 at 1:45 in the afternoon. She was born on March 15, 1935 and died at the age of 70. She is survived by her four children and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Dimaano was a major contributor to the Flower Card Project of the Good Works program in the Davao congregation. She will be greatly missed.
