Greetings Brethren!

I hope that God is continuing to bless you both spiritually and physically as you seek to do His will. I had the wonderful opportunity of visiting our summer camp at Eden Nature Park in May. I was very impressed with the camp and really wished I had the opportunity of spending the whole week there. I am very proud of our young people and so thankful for the loving and caring staff at summer camp. I would like to express my appreciation for the wonderful job that everyone performed.

I wanted to let everyone know that this will be the last issue of the United News Philippines. But don’t feel sad because this is actually exciting news! Beginning next issue, the United News Philippines will become the United News Asia. Instead of focusing on the work in the Philippines, we will highlight the work of the church in various parts of Asia. We look forward to reading news from our brethren in the Philippines as well as those scattered throughout Asia.

By the time you read this article, I will be making last minute preparations for our Leadership Conference in Davao City which will be held from July 17-19. We are very blessed to have men from the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and Sri Lanka join us for these meetings. Mr. Richard Pinelli, Mr. Lyle Welty, Mr. Joel Meeker, and Mr. Jeff Caudle will be giving several presentations on various aspects of leadership. It is our desire to help equip some of the men who are helping to serve our brethren each Sabbath. I really wish all of you could join us but our resources are limited and thus we had to limit the number of those attending. I would like to request your prayers for the success of these meetings. We realize that without God’s blessing none of this would be possible.
