| Barely, a few weeks from now God’s people will commune together to keep the Feast of Tabernacles in a place where God has chosen to put His name.
Even at this stage the feast fever is felt by everyone in God’s family.
There is not denying that the Feast of Tabernacles is the Festival prepared by God for His people to rejoice and learn more of the wonderful plan He prepared for those who faithfully obey His commandment and laws and to live His way of life.
All around the world where God’s people are found, the brethren anticipate a wonderful, meaningful and spiritually successful Feast.
To many, it is the highlight of God’s Festival to learn about the deep and significant meaning of the world tomorrow through the messages that will be given for the full eight days of the Feast including the Last Great Day.
In the Visayas, located in the central part of the Philippines the atmosphere of the Feast is most welcome by the brethren. Pre-Feast preparations are now ongoing participated in by those involved in the variety show and the choir.
Attendance at the Iloilo feast site would be around a hundred brethren, with some who are coming from abroad.
The brethren in Sabah, Malaysia will have the opportunity for the third time to have a festival site in Semporna, and will be conducted by an elder from the Philippines.
There are about two dozen or more brethren together with their families who will be rejoicing and experiencing a glimpse of the world tomorrow throughout the Festival.
In the Philippines’ three Feast sites, the brethren will have the privilege to have Jim Franks with his wife Sharron as their guest minister. Mr. Franks is the operations manager for Ministerial Services and is coming to fill the role of David Baker, senior pastor for Asia who will conduct the Feast in India.
This will be the second time for Mr. Franks to be the guest minister in the Philippines; the last time was in 2005.
We all look forward to the success of the Feast of Tabernacles knowing that our loving Father in heaven gives us these wonderful blessings so we will be given the spiritual food we need to help us grow into mature Christians. |
