| Wedding Before the Feast in Davao |

About 140 people gathered a day before the Feast this year to witness the wedding of Richard John Macaraeg and Anndy Lou Cuizon—members of the Davao and Kidapawan congregations—in the afternoon of October 12, 2008 at Mergrande Ocean Resort, Bago Aplaya, Davao City. The ceremony was officiated by the groom’s father and pastor for Mindanao congregations, Mr. Edmond Macaraeg. The groom’s best man was his older brother, Daniel Roy Macaraeg, while the maid of honor was the bride’s younger sister, Robby Jane Cuizon. Seven groomsmen and seven bridesmaids, four flower girls, and the ring bearer completed the entourage. Among friends, relatives, and Church members who attended the wedding was the visiting Festival speaker for this year in the Philippines, Mr. Jim Franks with his wife, Sharron. A reception immediately followed which included vocal song numbers and wishful messages given by the fathers of both the bride and the groom. The joyous occasion ended shortly after sunset. UNA |
